16.85ct Rough Aquamarine

A big, beautiful chunk of raw, uncut aquamarine. All 16.85cts of it! Note that there is a long inclusion running across the width of one side, visible at 0:05 seconds of the accompanying video and to the naked eye. 

Aquamarine celebrates March as a birthstone and an 18th and 19th Anniversary. Aquamarine is associated with courage and the release of anxiety and fear. It is thought to soothe, calm, alleviate fear and to help relaxation on long journeys. Many believe that it protects sailors at sea, and prevents seasickness. Tradition holds that it gives insight and promotes mental clarity.
