Excellent clarity here.  A very pretty, very light champagne topaz.  Filmed under magnification, any surface imperfections visible on the accompanying video are not visible to scrutiny of the naked eye.

The birthstone for November, a golden topaz also represents a 50th Anniversary.

Topaz, is thought to calm a bad temper and give strength. It is also said to improve mental clarity, focus and to increase confidence. As such, topaz gems are recommended for mood swings, insomnia, worry, fear, depression and exhaustion.

NB: High heat or sudden temperature changes can cause breaks in topaz. The gem's colour is generally stable to light, but prolonged exposure to heat or sunlight might cause fading in yellow-to-brown, reddish brown, or dark brown topaz. Topaz is affected only very slightly by chemicals.
